Illinois School Financials

Overview

Built for Skokie School District 73.5, where I serve as Vice President of the School Board. At the time, Illinois was exploring new funding models that could have negatively impacted the SD 73.5 budget.

Goals

Visually understand how schools in Illinois are fiscally rated by the state.

Approach

Data was provided by the State of Illinois; I used Tableau Public to develop and host the dashboard.

Results

All board members could access the same information and engage in a more productive conversation at the board meeting.
